Note 1: This glossary is a draft. There are still errors
in some of the definitions; so, use them for what they’re worth but don’t rely on them or cite them.
Note 2:

is the glossary’s primary reference for definitions of general terms in metrology.
The
GUM
is the authoritative reference for terminology related more specifically to measurement uncertainty.
